Fuengirola also stands out for number of restaurants offering the best of Spanish cuisine from Galicia, Asturias, the Basque Country, etc as well as the best in international cuisine such as Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, German and, of course, the excellent native Mediterranean and Andalusian cuisine with delicious specialities like sardine “espetos” (BBQ sardines on skewers), fried fish and the delicious variety of fish, oven-baked or cooked in salt.

The so-called “Calle del Hambre” (Hunger Street), situated right next to the Paseo Marítimo, is where you will find the largest concentration of restaurants in Fuengirola. This popular street is usually overflowing with carm and gaiety due to the number of establishments and its many “tapas” bars, and don´t forget the wonderful seafront with all its restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the noise of the sea meanwhile you have a lovely dinner or just a drink and watching all the different kind of nationality passing by.
